Yard Switcher responsibilities:
- To move loaded and unloaded trailers in the DC's trailer yard.
- To transport trailers between Amscan facilities
- Perform daily yard checks for both shipping and receiving.
- To help with removing snow from the tops of trailers using the snow scrapper when needed
- Fueling and cleaning the tractors
- Organize yard by carrier.
- Maximize parking capacity.
Qualifications:
- Requires self-motivation, a person who can work independently. Must be able to work well with others and take direction from team leaders/management. Work and drive trucks in a safe manner in a busy environment. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather. Excellent attendance and willingness to work overtime. Ability to adapt to a changing operation and willingness to cross train in other departments if required.
Expected Salary Range: $25.00-26.00 hourly.
The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.
