 Job Overview:

 

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis for our Digital and Marketing function. This role will be pivotal in driving financial strategy and supporting key decision-making processes that enhance the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives and digital transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics, coupled with a passion for the retail industry and digital marketing.

 

 Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate marketing campaigns and digital initiatives.
    • Prepare and present regular financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Analyze trends and variances to provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Lead the annual budgeting process for the digital and marketing functions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and refine forecasts throughout the fiscal year.
  • Performance Measurement:
    • Establish and track metrics to measure the ROI of marketing programs and digital investments.
    • Conduct post-campaign analyses to assess effectiveness and optimize future strategies.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and scenario analysis for new marketing opportunities and digital transformation projects.
    • Assist in identifying growth opportunities and cost-saving measures within the digital and marketing landscape.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Partner with marketing and digital teams to understand their financial needs and provide guidance on budget management.
    • Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis.

Job Requirements

Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and a collaborative mindset.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing metrics and analytics is a plus.



 Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on marketing or digital functions, preferably within a retail environment.
